Healing Hands Health is excited to announce their 14th Annual Sweets for the Sweet Valentine’s Day fundraiser will take place on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. Community partner Blackbird Bakery will once again donate 900 delicious chocolate cupcakes for the fundraiser! For each donation of $50 in honor of someone special, volunteers will deliver a beautifully packaged Blackbird Bakery Cupcake to the person of your choice.
Healing Hands’ mission is to glorify Christ by providing community-supported, affordably priced care that allows individuals with limited insurance coverage to restore their quality of life. Qualified residents of Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia can receive supportive, medical, dental and vision care. They have provided 115,000 patient visits over the past 26 years.
The fundraising goal for Sweets for the Sweet is $35,000 to support operating costs for the medical and dental clinics.
Healing Hands’ volunteer drivers will deliver cupcakes within the Tri-Cities area and Abingdon, VA. There are three purchase options. Surprise a Senior, Healing Hands’ Cupcake Patrol will deliver to residents of senior living communities. Someone Special, the Cupcake Patrol will deliver a to the person(s) of your choice or you may choose to Deliver Your Own cupcakes.
